Dr. Lippolis Condon treats patients from preschool to middle-age.. Typically ages 3 - 50 years old.
The first appointment with a new patient is a psychiatric evaluation. This is a 75 – 90 minute appointment that includes a complete medical and personal history, an evaluation, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. The first appointment with a child and family, is typically split into 3 or 4 portions with parents and child together, parents alone, child alone and everyone together again.
The first appt is typically a lot of background information and questions that help me to understand what is going on. The hope is that you will leave the first meeting with an understanding of the working diagnosis, treatment recommendations and a treatment plan that is workable and makes sense to everyone.
Dr. Lippolis Condon offers a free 10 minute initial phone conusltation to see if making an initial appointment makes sense in your case. You can schedule the phone call from the button on the home page.
Dr. Lippolis Condon provides second opinions on complex cases or in situations where it just seems like treatment is not working or not progressing. She can provide a one-time evaluation and consulation, or can take over ongoing care, if that seems most appropriate.
Dr. Lippolis Condon is not an in-network provider for any insurance companies, Medicare or Medicaid. She will provide the necessary information for those who have insurance that cover out-of-network benefits. Your insurance company will then reimburse you for Dr. Lippolis Condon’s services. The amount of reimbursement you receive depends on your particular health plan. It will be your responsibility to pay for services, even if you had understood from your health plan that a portion of the charges would be paid by them.
Payment is due at the time of service. Payment can be made directly through the patient portal. A credit card is required to be kept on file for all patient services. The following forms of payment are accepted through the practice: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and HSA cards.
New Patient Psychiatric Evaluation (75 – 90 minutes) - $525
Extended Follow Up or Psychotherapy (50 minutes) - $350
Brief Follow Up (25 minutes) - $175
After the initial evaluation, appointments are typically 25 minutes, every 1 - 3 weeks while things stabilize. After that initial (usually brief) period, appointments are less and less frequent once you are feeling better. Patients need to be seen at least once every three months, once stable.
For many patients, they are able to return to the treatment of their primary care provider once things have become stable and the treatment plan is clear. Other patients and families choose to stay under the care of Dr. Lippolis Condon for their ongoing mental health needs.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours of notice may be billed at the full cost of the scheduled appointment.
